YODOKO Guest House was designed by F. L. Wright, who came
to Japan (1915-1922) in response to a design request from
the Imperial Hotel, as a second house for the Yamamura family,
a sake brewer in Nada, Kobe. Execution design and supervising
were carried out by two disciples of Wright, Arata Endo
and Makoto Minami, and the construction was carried out
in 1923-1924.
This guided tour introduces the highlights of each floor
with pictures and 360°panoramic views. Fully enjoy the world
of Wright, a master architect.
